LYRICS TRANSLATION
Quiero aprovechar
I want to take advantage
Ya que estoy tomado
Since I'm drunk
Pa' poder decirte
To be able to tell you
Todas las cosas que me he guardado
All the things that I've kept for myself
Sé que no son horas de llamar
I know that it's not the time to call
Pero te vi en línea
But I saw you online
Y solo quería confirmar
And I just wanted to confirm
Si aún eras mi niña
If you were still my girl
Lo siento
I'm sorry
Es que sabes que me cuesta decir lo que siento
It's that you know that it's hard for me to say what I feel
Pero un borracho no miente, bebé, me arrepiento
But a drunk doesn't lie, babe, I regret it
En serio
Seriously
Pa' pedir perdón
To ask for forgiveness
Tengo que estar ebrio
I have to be drunk
Chorus 1
Ya que sobrio no me da
Since sober doesn't give me
Or: Since being sober doesn't work for me
Por eso te estoy llamando
That's why I'm calling you

Tengo la necesidad
I have the need
De saber cómo te va
To know how you're doing
Y si aún me sigues amando
And if still you continue loving me
Lo he intentado
I have tried it
Pero sobrio no me da
But sober doesn't give me
Por eso es que estoy tomando
That's why I'm drinking
Tengo la necesidad
I have the need
Or: I need
De saber cómo te va
To know how you're doing
Y si aún me sigues amando
And if still you continue loving me
Lo he intentado
I have tried it
Verse 2
Bebé, perdón, sé que no son horas
Babe, sorry, I know that it's not the hour
Or: Baby, sorry, I know it's not the right time
Pero es que el trago no colabora
But it's that the drink doesn't collaborate
Quiero saber si ríes o lloras
I want to know if you laugh or cry
Si andas acompañada o andas sola
If you're accompanied or alone
Yo por mi parte
I for my part
Or: I from my side
No hago otra cosa más que extrañarte
I do nothing but miss you
Or: I don't do other things other than miss you

Estoy bebiendo, supuestamente, pa' olvidarte
I'm drinking, supposedly, to forget you
Pero es obvio
But it's obvious
Que me duela que me tengas odio
That it hurts me that you hate me
Si a última hora no fui tan mal novio
If at the last hour I wasn't such a bad boyfriend
Or: If at the last moment I wasn't such a bad boyfriend
Te pienso borracho y lo escondo de sobrio
I think of you drunk and I hide it sober
Yo te quería para matrimonio
I wanted you for marriage
Pero le estás dando a esto un velorio
But you're giving to this a wake
Cuando tomo mi orgullo
When I drink my pride
Lo mando al demonio
I send it to the devil
Chorus 2
Ya que sobrio no me da
Since sober doesn't give me
Or: Since being sober doesn't work for me
Por eso te estoy llamando
That's why I'm calling you
Tengo la necesidad
I have the need
De saber cómo te va
To know how you're doing
Y si aún me sigues amando
And if still you continue loving me
Lo he intentado
I have tried it
Pero sobrio no me da
But sober doesn't give me

Por eso es que estoy tomando
That's why I'm drinking
Tengo la necesidad
I have the need
De saber cómo te va
To know how you're doing
Y si aún me sigues amando
And if still you continue loving me
Lo he intentado
I have tried it
