"La Que Hay" is Cosculluela flexing at full volume. The title is Puerto Rican street talk: ustedes saben la que hay [you all know what's up] means everybody already knows the score, so nobody should test him. The hook opens with ¿Quién tiene el power pa' frontearme a mí? [who has the power to front on me?], where frontear is slang for confronting someone or acting tough. The plo-plo-plo after each line is gunfire written out as sound.
The verses stack up the brags: cars, the combo [crew], expensive palos (literally sticks, here slang for guns), and Esto no e' el 3-0-5, we the 7-8-7 [this isn't the 305, we're the 787], comparing Miami's area code with Puerto Rico's. He jokes that his guns are real in PR while yours only exist in Grand Theft Auto, the video game. Later he maps out loyal neighbourhoods from Trujillo Alto to Cupey and shouts out the whole Latino family in New York: bori', mexi', domi', parce' [Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Dominicans, Colombians]. It's blunt, violent and pretty over the top, but great for picking up Caribbean slang and the dropped-s endings of Puerto Rican Spanish.
