Lynda was born in Garges-lès-Gonesse, a Paris suburb, into a family of musicians of Algerian origin who sang together long before she ever performed for anyone else. In 2010, still a teenager, she started posting cover songs on YouTube and Facebook, and her takes on tracks by Adele and French rap artists caught the attention of Dawala, the founder of the label Wati B, who signed her in 2012 and became her longtime producer.
She spent the following years touring behind artists such as Black M and Sexion d'Assaut before landing her own chart entry with "Reste" in 2015. After signing with Polydor in 2018, she released two solo albums, Papillon in 2020 and Un peu de moi in 2023, both certified in France, with singles including "Adieu" alongside Dadju, "Si tu m'aimes," and "Fini d'espérer." Her music blends R&B and soul, carried by a voice she spent a decade training before the rest of the country caught on.
