VANESSA PARADIS

Vanessa Paradis was born on December 22, 1972, in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, near Paris. She became a star while still a teenager, topping the French charts at fourteen with "Joe le Taxi" in 1987, a song that went on to become a hit across Europe. She followed it a few years later with the album "Variations sur le même t'aime," co-written and produced with Lenny Kravitz, which turned her into an adult pop artist in her own right.

Alongside her music career, Paradis built a long career as an actress and became the face of Chanel's Coco perfume. She won the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in "Noce Blanche" and has appeared in films including "La Fille sur le Pont," "Sheitan," "Heartbreaker," and "Café Society." She continues to release music and act in French and international productions.
