Mark Forster is one of Germany's most popular pop singer-songwriters. Born Mark Ćwiertnia on January 11, 1983 in Kaiserslautern, he is of German and Polish descent and built his career in Berlin as a singer, pianist and songwriter.
He released his first solo music in 2012 and went on to score a string of hits with his warm, anthemic pop. Beyond his own records he became a familiar face on television as a long-running coach on The Voice of Germany, leading his team to victory in 2022.
