Bolero Falaz Lyrics in English Aterciopelados

Below, I translated the lyrics of the song Bolero Falaz by Aterciopelados from Spanish to English.
Intro
And it says
Verse 1
You search my pockets for proof of another love
Hairs on the lapel, this smile betrays me
Lipstick on the shirt, my alibi is in shreds
I'm in evidence, cheating has its science
Chorus 1
I'm fed up
You're not my other rib
Nor the eighth wonder
Bad if yes, bad if no
Don't even ask
Chorus 1
I'm not me anymore, you have me beside myself
That if I come, that I don't go
That if I'm here, that I get lost
That if I have, that I don't give
That if I'm here, that I'm coming
Bad if yes, bad if no
Don't even ask
Chorus 1
I'm not me anymore, you have me beside myself
That if I come, that I don't go
That if I'm here, that I get lost
That if I have, that I don't give
That if I'm here, that I'm coming
Verse 2
I feel it in your hands, your caresses have robbed me
I feel it in your mouth, those kisses are already someone else's
Who will that wretch be that doesn't let me love you?
If I found her I'd smash that face
Chorus 2
I'm fed up
You're not my other rib
Nor the eighth wonder
Bad if yes, bad if no
Don't even ask
Chorus 2
I'm not me anymore, you have me beside myself
That if I come, that I don't go
That if I'm here, that I get lost
That if I have, that I don't give
That if I'm here, that I'm coming
Outro
I told you no more and you sh*t yourself laughing
I told you no more and you sh*t yourself laughing
I told you no more and you sh*t yourself laughing

SONG MEANING

Bolero Falaz takes the lush, melodramatic spirit of a traditional bolero and turns it into a rebellious rock anthem. Aterciopelados paint a picture of a couple locked in an endless tug-of-war of jealousy: lipstick on shirts, hairs on jackets, endless interrogations. No matter what the singer does, it is malo si sí, malo si no – wrong if she does, wrong if she doesn’t. Fed up, she declares she’s hasta la coronilla (up to here) and refuses to be anyone’s missing rib or so-called eighth wonder.

Beneath the catchy guitars and playful wordplay lies a bold statement of independence. The narrator exposes the toxicity of possessive love, mocks her partner’s paranoia, and ends with a fierce “¡Te dije no más!” – I told you, no more. In just three fiery minutes, this Colombian classic turns a faltering romance into a celebration of self-respect, inviting listeners to sing, dance, and break free from suffocating relationships.
