Tu Cinturón Lyrics in English by Los Rumberos
Orión refers to the constellation Orion, a prominent and easily recognizable star pattern in the night sky. It's a unique and engaging word because it connects the song to astronomy and ancient Greek mythology.
In the song, the lyrics repeatedly mention "el cinturón de Orión" (Orion's belt) and encourage the listener to "mueve tu cinturón al ritmo de Orión" (move your belt to the rhythm of Orion). This creates a playful and imaginative image of dancing under the stars, making a celestial body the inspiration for movement and rhythm.
Have you ever looked up at the night sky and felt completely mesmerized? Los Rumberos definitely have! Their song "Tu Cinturón" [Your Belt] is a super fun and rhythmic ode to the constellation Orion.
The lyrics talk about seeing Orion's Belt – "En fila juntitas las tres, le dan vida al cazador, formando su cinturón" [In a row, close together, the three give life to the hunter, forming his belt] – every time the sun sets. It's like a cosmic dance party! They even ask, "¿Qué es lo que trae en la mano izquierda?" [What does he hold in his left hand?] wondering if it's a club or a sword. And the best part? They connect this celestial wonder to a call to dance: "Mami, mueve tu cinturón, mueve tu cinturón al ritmo de Orión" [Mami, move your belt, move your belt to the rhythm of Orion]. It's a playful invitation to groove to the rhythm of the stars!
