Marco Antonio Solís, born on December 29, 1959 in Ario de Rosales, Michoacán, Mexico, is a celebrated Mexican musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Beginning his career at the young age of six with his cousin as part of Los Hermanitos Solís, he later co-founded the iconic band Los Bukis in 1975, where he gained fame as lead vocalist and primary songwriter.

After decades of success with Los Bukis, Solís launched a thriving solo career with his debut album "En Pleno Vuelo" in 1996. Renowned for his heartfelt Latin pop, grupero, and mariachi music, he has earned five Latin Grammy Awards, two Lo Nuestro Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Recognized as the 2022 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, Marco Antonio Solís continues to influence Latin music with timeless hits and powerful collaborations.
