SDM named his first album Ocho after a sum: 100 minus 8 makes 92, the Hauts-de-Seine number he grew up under. Born Leonard Beni Manzambi in Meudon in 1995, he came up on the 3F estate in Clamart as the youngest of ten children in a family of Congolese descent. Booba found him through Instagram and signed him to 92i in February 2020.
Ocho arrived in April 2021 and Liens du 100 in December 2022, and both went double platinum. One track from the second record ended up the most-streamed song in France in 2023. A third album, À la vie à la mort, followed in September 2024. Along the way he has recorded with PLK, Maes, Tiakola and Werenoi, played the Paris Olympia in April 2023, and sat on the jury of Netflix's Nouvelle École.
