Sayf, born Adam Sayf Viacava in Genoa in 1999, is an Italian rapper and singer with an Italian father and a Tunisian mother. He grew up in Santa Margherita and started out playing the trumpet before falling for rap.
His sound pulls from everywhere, from reggae to metal, and critics have praised him as fresher and lighter than most of the rap around him. After a couple of mixtapes and the 2025 EP 'Se dio vuole' won him a wider audience, he took 'Tu mi piaci tanto' to the Sanremo Music Festival 2026, where it finished in second place.
