Blessed glory to the one who suffers
For those who fight, day by day
Blessed glory to him who is noble
And he does everything for his family
blessed glory
blessed glory
For those who suffer and fight for a better life
For those who are noble and think about helping their family
Without harm, it flies when you walk
God gives him strength to continue
God gives him strength to continue
Without harming anyone it flies when walking
Who said it would be easy
Who said it would be easy to give everything away?
Nobody knows what I suffered in life
Because he is only interested in what he has
I come from where no one loves you
From where you only heal your wounds
Luckily I have an angel who takes care of me
He has black hair and a clean soul
Women who are for the family
May she not die, may my God bless her
Keep everything I have
And give me back to my mom
Only lies surround me
I walk on the bad
I feel I have no right
only food for fame
I don't want my life anymore
My life is worthless
God, give me strength to continue
Without harming anyone it flies when walking
Who said it would be easy
Who said it was going to be easy to give it all away?
blessed glory
For those who suffer and fight for a better life
For those who are noble and think about helping their family
Without harm, it flies when you walk
God gives him strength to continue
blessed glory
For those who suffer and fight for a better life
For those who are noble and think about helping their family
Without harm, it flies when you walk
God gives him strength to continue

"Gloria Bendita" (Blessed Glory) is Maka handing out a blessing to everyone who grinds through life without hurting anyone. The chorus keeps aiming it at the same people: "para el que sufre" (for the one who suffers), "para el que lucha, día a día" (for the one who fights, day after day), and the one who "hace todo por su familia" (does everything for their family). It sounds like a prayer you could sing on a street corner.

Then the verses get personal, and a lot heavier. He says "nadie sabe lo que yo sufrí en la vida" (nobody knows what I suffered in life) and that he comes "de donde nadie te quiere" (from where nobody loves you), a place where "solo te curas las heridas" (you only heal your own wounds). His comfort is "un ángel que me cuida" (an angel who looks after me) with black hair and a clean soul. The line that hits hardest is "Quédate to' lo que tengo, y devuélveme a mi mamá" (Keep all I have, and give me back my mom). Note the "to'", a clipped "todo" (everything) you hear all the time in Spanish street music. By the end he admits "mi vida no vale nada" (my life is worth nothing), which is blunt, and then asks God for strength to keep going anyway.
