Luiza is a French-Brazilian singer born in Rennes, France, to a Brazilian mother and a French father. She trained classically at the conservatoire from a young age, then spent time in Brazil discovering new rhythms and later studied at the Beaux-Arts de la Réunion.
Back in Paris, she built her career through collaborations, lending her voice to artists like Fakear, Mahom, and Flavia Coelho, and recording a dub EP with Khoe Wa. As a solo artist, she blends French pop with South American and tropical influences, pairing cumbia rhythms with French pop on "Demain Demain," baile funk on "Oxalà," and maloya on "Wadidadu." Her music captures a playful, genre-crossing energy that mirrors her own multicultural upbringing.
