Lagui raps with his face hidden, always under a hood or a scarf, and nobody outside his circle knows what he looks like. He grew up in the Félix Pyat and Oliviers A neighbourhoods of Marseille. His verses stay close to that ground, claiming his part of the city and telling his daily life straight.
His first clip, "Ciro", came out in October 2025 and quickly passed a million views, with "Skorpion" and "Aux armes" coming soon after. The mixtape En Attendant En Croix set up his debut album En Croix, released on Play Two in June 2026, which went to number one in France with 11,000 sales in its first week. Jul, Gazo and Niaks all feature on it, and Kaaris joins him on "Bob Marley".
