Cuando Duele Más Lyrics in English by Noel Schajris

Acarician comes from the verb acariciar, meaning "to caress" or "to stroke". It's a tender and evocative word that you might not encounter in every Spanish song.

In the lyrics, Noel Schajris sings, "No me acarician ni el frío ni el viento" (Neither the cold nor the wind caress me). This personification of nature highlights the singer's profound sense of loneliness and emotional numbness, as even natural elements fail to provide comfort or sensation. It's a beautiful and poignant use of the word.
