Luis Fonsi uses this familiar fairy tale character to add a touch of romance and perhaps a hint of fantasy to his desperate request. He sings, "Ponte mi corazón, Cinderella es princesa" (Put on my heart, Cinderella is a princess), suggesting he sees his love as a princess, even in this bittersweet moment of farewell. Fonsi wrote this one from the worst seat at somebody else's wedding. So he stops asking her to stay and asks for one night instead. The title is the price he offers for it: "Una noche más y me despido" (One more night and I say goodbye).
