"Lágrimas" (Tears) is a breakup song told from the side of the person doing the leaving, and Asan doesn't let himself off the hook. It opens with a confession: "Creo que lo único que hice es lastimarte" (I think the only thing I did was hurt you). Then comes the image the title is built on: "Lágrimas corriéndote el maquillaje" (tears running your makeup).
The verses are a list of his own failures. He was "indeciso y perdido" (undecided and lost), living "con to' los horarios corridos" (with all my hours thrown off), forcing himself just to feel alive. The blunt core is "Tu amor se me volvió un peso" (your love turned into a weight for me), and he admits "Ya sé que la culpa es mía" (I know the fault is mine). Notice the Argentine-style clipped endings like to' for todos and mejilla' mojada' for mejillas mojadas, where the final s just drops away.
The chorus loops on being lost: "No sé para dónde ir" (I don't know where to go), and he decides the best thing is to split up "para no volver a herirnos" (so we don't hurt each other again). Then, after all that heartbreak, the track ends on one cheeky word: "Sike", English slang for "just kidding!" It's a strange little twist that makes you wonder how serious the goodbye really was.
