What the song is about
"Hennessy" is Capo Plaza taking stock of a life that moved very fast. The hook says it plainly: he is under stress, and the cognac is what he reaches for to keep going. "E-energy, hennessy mi da la carica" reads less like a celebration than an admission that the fuel is running low.
Around that chorus he builds two pictures. One is the win. He name-checks a 4x4, a Cartier, a Patek and a G-Class, and lines himself up with Kylian Mbappe, born in ninety-eight like him, someone who arrived young and had to deliver straight away.
