Rose Villain is the stage name of Rosa Luini, an Italian singer-songwriter and rapper born in Milan, Italy, in 1989. At eighteen she moved to Los Angeles to study music, and singing in a punk rock cover band called The Villains inspired her stage name.
She broke through in the Italian music scene in 2016 with the platinum single "Don Medellín" alongside rapper Salmo, and in 2018 became the first Italian artist signed to Republic Records. Her collaboration "Chico" with Guè Pequeno went quadruple platinum, and her feature on Achille Lauro's "Fragole" reached triple platinum status.
Her albums, including Radio Gotham, Radio Sakura and Radio Vega, blend pop, rap and rock influences, showcasing her versatile sound and sharp, confessional songwriting. Today she is one of Italy's most prominent female voices in pop and hip-hop.
