Rosalino "Chalino" Sánchez Félix (1960–1992) was a Mexican singer and composer known as the "King of The Corrido." Born in the rural municipality of Culiacán, Sinaloa, Chalino rose from a life marked by hardship and violence to become one of the most influential voices in Regional Mexican music.

Starting his music career by composing corridos that told true crime stories and heartfelt ballads, Chalino connected deeply with his audience through his raw and authentic storytelling. Despite his rough vocal style, his songs captured the spirit and slang of Sinaloa, resonating across Southern California and Mexico. His legacy continues to influence artists and fans alike, years after his tragic death in 1992.
