Babasónicos open with a line that sounds cynical and turns out to be sly: "Nadie quiere enamorarse de eso que se escribe con un dedo en el sudor de un vaso frío en un bar" (Nobody wants to fall in love with something written with a finger in the sweat of a cold glass in a bar). That "sweat" is the condensation on the glass, so the love he means is a doodle that disappears as soon as the drink warms up.
The narrator's offer is a fling with no strings: "Te propongo masticar los hielos y besarnos sin sentir nada de nada" (I suggest we chew the ice and kiss without feeling anything at all). He wants an asunto (an affair) without becoming "rehenes de un atado emocional" (hostages of an emotional bundle). Atado is a bundle tied up with string, and in Argentina it also means a messy situation, a nice word to learn. Then comes the chorus, which is just a cat going "Miau" (meow), playful and a bit cheeky.
The bridge gets stranger and bigger: "Quizás en poco tiempo seamos los últimos seres con la contraseña del habla" (Maybe soon we'll be the last beings with the password of speech). It's a funny jump from a bar flirt to the end of human talk, and it's the line that sticks.
