"Realidad-Es" is Grupo Niche doing what salsa does best: putting hard-won street wisdom on top of a groove you can dance to. The singer runs through everything he has watched people do. Some cling on with their elbows, some humiliate themselves for money, some look down from way up high and then fall when they lose it all. He admits he has broken into a thousand pieces himself, and that he has had to bite his tongue "pa' no mandar pa'l carajo a tantos otros" (so as not to tell so many others to go to hell). That pa' is just a squashed para, and you will hear it everywhere in Caribbean Spanish.
The chorus is a list of lessons, and some of them are funny. "Mi mejor amigo tiene cuatro patas y menea la cola" (my best friend has four legs and wags its tail) is a dry joke about trusting his dog more than people. He is fed up with "motivadores falsos" (fake motivational speakers) and fake millionaires, and believes only in himself, his family and God. The line you will remember is "Quien no dijo una mentira jamás, no conoce la verdad" (whoever never told a lie does not know the truth). He closes with a shrug: "Si te gusta bien, y si no también" (if you like it, fine, and if not, also fine).
