Danser Lyrics in English Arcadian

Below, I translated the lyrics of the song Danser by Arcadian from French to English.
Another morning when I get up
And it's the same day
Whether it starts or ends
I don't know what time it is anymore
I eat alone between two series
I've only got one TV channel left
In the morning it's mostly Netflix
At night BFM TV
Come on, come on, come on
We're not gonna get depressed
Come on, come on, you know
We don't wanna let them down
Come on, come on, come on
For our caregivers and everyone who toils
Come on, come on, you know
We're gonna stay home and dance
From winter to summer, we're gonna stay confined
From winter to summer, we stay here to dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
For the parents who dream of the day school won't be closed anymore
For the kids who've walked every inch of their 10 m²
For the doctors we clap every night before dinner
Tonight there'll be no concert but we're gonna give it all
Come on, come on, come on
We're not gonna get depressed
Come on, come on, you know
We don't wanna let them down
Come on, come on, come on
For our caregivers and everyone who toils
Come on, come on, you know
We're gonna stay home and dance
From winter to summer, we're gonna stay confined
From winter to summer, we stay here to dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
From winter to summer, we're gonna stay confined
From winter to summer, we stay here to dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance, dance

SONG MEANING

“Danser” is Arcadian’s sparkling antidote to lockdown blues. The lyrics paint a familiar picture: waking up to yet another identical day, breakfast with Netflix, dinner with the news, and the walls of a tiny apartment closing in. Yet instead of sinking into gloom, the trio rallies everyone with an upbeat chant of “Aller, aller”, reminding us that we can still salute overworked doctors, entertain restless kids, and keep spirits high—all from the living-room dance floor.

The chorus turns confinement into a festival: “De l’hiver jusqu’à l’été, on reste ici pour danser.” It is a joyful rebellion where kitchen tiles become disco lights and every clap for healthcare workers doubles as a drumbeat. In short, the song transforms the monotony of quarantine into a collective promise to stay home, stay safe, and most of all, keep dancing.
