Precipicio translates to "cliff" or "precipice." It's a dramatic and evocative word that immediately brings to mind a sense of danger and falling.
In the song, the artist sings, "Si tú no estás caigo en un precipicio" (If you're not here, I fall into a precipice). This powerful metaphor conveys the depth of his despair and how lost he feels without his loved one, suggesting that her absence leads him to a dangerous and uncontrollable emotional freefall.
Ovi opens with the arrangement he's made with himself: "Y mientras no vuelves seguiré de borracho, así no dueles" (And while you don't come back, I'll stay drunk, so you don't hurt). The drink is a dose here, not a party. He has already tried the other obvious substitute and reports back on it in the next breath — "Ando con otra, pero eso no resuelve" (I'm with another woman, but that doesn't fix anything) — and by the chorus the remedy has turned on him: "Vaciando botellas, duele el corazón" (Emptying bottles, the heart aches).
What keeps this from being an ordinary hangover song is that he prosecutes himself. "Un profesional quebrando sentimientos" (A professional at breaking feelings) is the bluntest line in it, and profesional is the word that stings, because it makes the betrayal a skill rather than a slip. Blessd and DannyLux take over the apology he can't get out sober, and Ovi keeps circling back to the one thing he can offer in his defence: "Lo único bueno de esto es esta canción" (The only good thing to come out of this is this song). Which is a bit much, and he sounds like he knows it. The last verse admits the apology arrived too late to spend — "Por más que quise tratarte como si fueras mi reina" (However much I wanted to treat you like a queen), "Porque de otro es tu piel" (Because your skin belongs to someone else now).
