This is a long, swaggering rap from Victor Mendivil where he brags about money, weed, guns and loyalty, line after line, barely stopping for breath. The title comes from the very first rhyme: "Ando más conectado que Jacobo Grinberg" (I'm more connected than Jacobo Grinberg). Grinberg was a Mexican neuroscientist famous for studying consciousness and the idea that minds are connected, and he mysteriously disappeared in 1994. So the joke is that Victor is so plugged in, he outdoes the guy who studied connection itself.
A lot of the fun is the Mexican slang. Feria means money, compas are your buddies, mota and mari are weed, and trocas are pickup trucks. He calls himself a "cholo tumbado" (a laid-back cholo), drops brands like Valentino, Louboutin and Giorgio Armani, and even jokes he could challenge Wiz Khalifa to a smoking contest. Some lines are very blunt, so this one is not for the faint of heart.
Under the bragging there is a rags-to-riches story. "No critico a los pobres porque allá es de dónde vengo" (I don't criticise the poor because that's where I come from), and "Tuve que buscar feria, me andaba muriendo de hambre" (I had to go looking for money, I was starving). He also sticks with "los mismos compas desde que empezamos" (the same buddies since we started), which is about as sweet as this song gets.
