A salsa romántica love triangle with a twist: two friends realise they are in love with the same woman. "Más que amigos hoy somos rivales del mismo querer" (more than friends, today we are rivals for the same love), they sing, and that line is the whole story.
She has them both hooked. The love they feel "rompe mi cordura" (breaks my sanity), with her at their side she is "toda dulzura" (all sweetness), and they end up "atrapados en esa trampa de su piel" (trapped in that trap of her skin). Her perfume leaves them "embriagado de tanto placer" (drunk on so much pleasure). It is dramatic in the best salsa way.
The ending turns a little sour. She has been playing with them, "se ha burlado de los dos" (she has made fun of both of us), living "una doble vida" (a double life). And yet the two men still admit "me gusta" (I like her). Heads up: some lines look transcribed by ear, so a few read oddly word for word.
