"EL TOQUE" (The Touch) is a worship song with a reggaeton-merengue bounce, and Daddy Yankee is singing to God here. He spells it out at the very end: "Yeshua", the Hebrew name of Jesus. Everything before that is about someone who never ignores him: "Nunca me ignoras cuando te llamo" (You never ignore me when I call you) and "Tú siempre me llevas de la mano" (You always lead me by the hand).
The chorus is one idea repeated until it sticks: "Tú me toca'" (you touch me), with a touch that is "sobrenatural" (supernatural), "especial" (special) and "celestial" (heavenly). The dropped s in "toca'" is how Caribbean Spanish swallows the end of "tocas". There is some fun wordplay too: "Estoy en alta, pero andaba en cero" (I'm on a high, but I was running on zero), and he mixes in English with "Estaba rookie y ahora pro" (I was a rookie and now I'm a pro). "Estoy en sol" works on two levels, the musical note G (sol) and the sun, right after "La nota no miente" (the note doesn't lie). The "merenguito dulce" (sweet little merengue) is the rhythm he is riding.
