Poc Vecem Lyrics in English by In Extremo

Spielmann translates to "minstrel" or "musician", specifically an itinerant one. It's a charming, somewhat archaic word that evokes images of medieval times and wandering performers.

In the song, the narrator identifies as an "armer Spielmann" (poor minstrel), highlighting his humble status and perhaps a sense of being an outsider. This word is central to understanding the character's identity and the melancholic yet resilient tone of the German verses.
