Dan Bălan is a Moldovan musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer born in 1979 in Chișinău. He is best known as the founder of the Eurodance group O-Zone and the writer of their international hit single "Dragostea din tei," which topped charts in 32 countries and sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
Starting his musical journey at age 11 with an accordion, Dan has explored various genres, including rock, dance, and pop. Beyond O-Zone, he launched a solo career and an alter ego named Crazy Loop, showcasing his versatility and playful side.
