"Cosita Linda" is a breezy beach-day love song, and it does not pretend to be anything deeper. It opens with an invitation: "Si vas de copiloto, yo voy pa' donde sea" (If you ride as co-pilot, I'll go anywhere). She even signs up for the moon, "Pa' la luna me anoto" (I'm in for the moon). Pa' is just a squeezed para (for / to), something you will hear in nearly every reggaeton track.
The chorus is the sweet bit. "Mi cosita linda la tengo al lado" (I've got my pretty little thing right beside me), and cosita linda is a cute pet name, a bit like "cutie". The best line is "Con otros ojitos no he conectao'" (I haven't connected with any other eyes), followed by "Veo el color de los tuyos" (I see the color of yours). Love here is not perfect either: "Llegan los problemas y sabemos hablarlo" (Problems come and we know how to talk it out).
Justin Quiles' verse is pure vacation slang. He calls her "Shorty" and "mi chama" (Venezuelan for "my girl"), wants to post their photos, and plans a round of margaritas (the cocktails, not the flowers). "Que lo seteamos" uses setear, Spanglish from English "to set", so it means "we'll set it up". It is a happy, slightly cheesy song, and that is the charm.
