Two friends, one conversation, and the second half answers the first almost word for word. It opens with a confession that has been waiting a while: "Tengo que contarte algo" (I have to tell you something), then "Siento que no soy la misma" (I feel like I'm not the same). She will not call it sadness. She says "No sé si estoy triste" (I don't know if I'm sad) and reaches instead for a description she has heard other people use, "alguien que perdió su rumbo" (someone who lost their way), "Y no encuentra por dónde regresar" (and can't find a way back).
Then the other voice takes that same verse and bends it. "Amiga, no te sientas sola" (Friend, don't feel alone), and the line about losing your way comes back with one verb changed: "Y va encontrando por dónde regresar" (and is finding a way back). She offers no fix. "Las palabras ya no sirven como antes" (words no longer work like before), so all she promises is "Solo puedo acompañarte en este mundo" (I can only accompany you in this world). The best moment is quieter than any of that: while her friend is talking, "Lo que escucho es tu fuerza" (what I hear is your strength).
