This is a love song with zero cynicism in it. Jennifer Peña opens with a simple request: "Abrázame y bésame como si fuera la primera vez" (Hug me and kiss me as if it were the first time). She wants every kiss to feel brand new, and the whole song keeps coming back to that wish.
Then comes the promise. "Yo te prometo que jamás te voy a lastimar" (I promise you I will never hurt you), and "Hoy yo te entrego el corazón" (Today I give you my heart). The verses go back to the day they met: "Cuando te conocí, me enamoré de ti" (When I met you, I fell in love with you), so stunned she didn't know what to say. A fun phrase to steal here is "Somos tal para cual", an idiom meaning "we're two of a kind" or "made for each other". She also says "No perdamos más el tiempo" (Let's not waste any more time), which is about as direct as a love song gets. It's sweet, a bit cheesy, and very easy to sing along to.
