Pavel "Pasha" Parfeni is a Moldovan musician, singer, and songwriter. Born on May 30, 1986, in Orhei, Moldova, Parfeni grew up surrounded by music, with his mother being a piano teacher and his father a singer and guitarist. He studied piano from a young age and later enrolled at Tiraspol Music College and the State Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts. Parfeni gained recognition as the lead singer of the Moldovan band SunStroke Project before embarking on a successful solo career. He has participated in various music competitions and festivals, winning first place in the George Grigoriu International Pop Music Festival and the Mamaia Contest. Parfeni represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 with his song "Lăutar," placing 11th, and again in 2023 with the song "Soarele și luna," placing 18th. With his talent and passion for music, Parfeni continues to captivate audiences with his catchy pop tunes and heartfelt performances.
