SOLITE PARE Lyrics in English by Sick Luke, thasup, Sfera Ebbasta
Pare is a fascinating slang term in Italian, particularly in the context of Roman dialect and youth culture. It's a shortened, colloquial form of paranoie, which means "paranoia" or "worries."
In this song, "Le solite pare" translates to "The usual issues" or "The usual worries/thoughts." It perfectly captures the recurring mental struggles and anxieties the artist faces, making it a very relatable and authentic expression of modern Italian street language.
"SOLITE PARE" is about carrying the same worries around even after success changes everything else. The title is Roman slang for "the usual troubles," and the hook keeps returning to it: money and fame are here, but the same doubts are still in his head.
He admits he ignores texts and doesn't reply, not out of spite but because he's caught up answering his own questions. He dreams of finding a place where he can just accept himself, and he still misses a partner who now feels like a stranger.
Family struggles sit underneath the bravado: a brother crying locked in the bathroom, a mother left to cope alone since the father walked out years ago. Around him, the fast life brings new cars and fast money, but also people he can't trust, comparing them to liars in the game Among Us. However rich the surface gets, the song keeps landing back on "le solite pare," the same old worries, unchanged.
