Reyli Barba opens this one like a diary: "12 de julio, 21 de diciembre, días cruciales" (July 12, December 21, crucial days). He never tells us what happened on those dates, and honestly that makes it better. You fill them in with your own big days.
From there it turns into a gentle prayer. He says "Voy a rezar un padre nuestro" (I'm going to pray an Our Father), which is the Lord's Prayer, and he prays "por los que estamos, por los que se fueron" (for those of us who are here, for those who are gone). Then the mood lifts: "Me siento libre como el viento" (I feel free as the wind) and "Ya no hay mentiras ni pretextos" (there are no more lies or excuses).
The chorus is almost all one word, "tú" (you), stacked with adverbs: eternamente (eternally), profundamente (deeply), divinamente (divinely), dulcemente (sweetly). It is a great little lesson in how Spanish builds adverbs with -mente, like English "-ly". My favourite line is "Haciendo malabares en el tiempo" (juggling with time), a lovely way to say love keeps you balancing everything. It ends on simple, warm promises like "Tu amor es fiel, tu amor es paz" (your love is faithful, your love is peace). Sweet, a bit repetitive, and very easy to sing along to.
