Bambi and Debi Nova turn a crush into a space trip. The song opens with "Fui hasta el cielo ida y vuelta, fui a la luna y viceversa" (I went to the sky and back, I went to the moon and the other way round), and ida y vuelta is the everyday phrase for a return ticket, so the singer has basically bought a round trip to the moon for this person. Then comes a whole run of clumsy astronaut moments: falling off a planet while dodging a comet, crashing into the other person's galaxy, tripping and landing right on top of them.
Under all the cosmic slapstick is one simple question, the hook "¿Qué te pasa conmigo?" (What's going on with you and me?). She wants to read the other person's eyes "para descifrar" (to decode them). The sweetest detail is very down to earth: "tus besos por teléfono me rescatan" (your kisses over the phone rescue me), which sounds a lot like a long-distance thing held together by calls. There is also a cute water section where their "burbujitas" (little bubbles, -itas is the diminutive) float up to the surface carrying these words. It is a playful, slightly dizzy love song, and the phone-kisses line is the one that sticks.
