Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me
Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
She's like a sorceress
She's stolen my heart
So that I don't want anyone else
She's thrown a love curse on me
I spent the whole night
Inside her room
She always does it her way
She does it like the best
She dances on me, she goes crazy
She wants to grab me, bite my mouth
I am watching how it bounces
So pretty that it hurts, hurts
How she does it to me, she drives me crazy
She wants me to finish and start another
She says that her heart is broken
That's why she doesn't want me, want me
Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me
Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me, me
I wasted half my life alone
Waiting for the moment that my plans come out
But I think that I'll drop everything
That mouth has me like wrapped in diamonds
And now
Tell me what gold is good for
What good is this car, all these chains
And you shine brighter than all those diamonds
Too expensive to afford you
She dances on me, she goes crazy
She wants to grab me, bite my mouth
I am watching how it bounces
So pretty that it hurts, hurts
The way you do it drives me crazy
She wants me to finish and start another
She says that her heart is broken
That's why she doesn't want me, want me
Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me
Baby, I've realized that I love you
That I don't know what I'm doing without you
I know that a few talked to you
But you prefer me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me
Me, me, me, me, me

hechicera — sorceress

Hechicera literally translates to "sorceress" or "enchantress". It's a fantastic and evocative word that you don't hear in songs every day.

In "A Mí", Rels B uses this metaphor to describe a woman who has completely captivated him, as if she's cast a magic spell. He sings, “Ella es como una hechicera / Me ha roba'o el corazón” (She's like a sorceress / She has stolen my heart), painting a vivid picture of her irresistible and almost magical power over him.

Spanish artist Rels B is completely head over heels in "A Mí", and he is not trying to play it cool. He lays all his cards on the table right from the start, confessing that other guys have been trying to talk to her, but she still chooses him: "Yo sé que unos cuantos te hablaron / Pero me prefieres a mí" [I know a few guys talked to you / But you prefer me]. Throughout the track, he compares her to a sorceress (hechicera) who cast a lovesick curse (mal de amor) on him so he can never look at another woman again. He even starts questioning all his material success, asking what his fancy car, gold, and chains (colgantes) are even worth when she shines brighter than actual diamonds: "Dime de qué sirve el oro / Qué sirve este coche" [Tell me what good is gold / What good is this car].

There is a sharp twist beneath the romance, though. While he is totally hooked, watching her dance and wishing she would stay, she keeps her emotional guard up. He drops the bitter detail that she has a broken heart ("Dice que tiene el corazón roto" [She says her heart is broken]), which is why she refuses to love him back: "Por eso no me quiere quiere" [That is why she does not love me]. For Spanish learners, listen closely to how he drops the 'd' in everyday speech, singing "me he da'o cuenta" instead of me he dado cuenta [I realized], and "roba'o" instead of robado [stolen]. It sounds natural, casual, and painfully honest.
