Tune me in, give me a sip of your soul
Of your softness, of that vertigo in your calm
Before it's too late
Tie me up with kisses
Intoxicate me
With your wet caresses
Before it's too late
Cover me in foam
You come like the sea, turning in a cycle
You come and go, like a Venus you appear
I will sink into your waves
And let the current take us
Intoxicate me
With your wet caresses
Before it's too late
Cover me in foam, no, no
You come like the sea, turning in a cycle
You come and go, like a Venus you appear
I will sink into your waves
And let the current take us
It's because I love you, it's because it's like this
I know it's not real and no one belongs to anyone
But I feel you're mine
Just because I love you, just because it's like this
I know it's not real and you don't belong to me
But I feel you're mine
Thank you for being here, thank you for enduring
I drowned in your covers until the end
I will take care of you like you do for me
Like you do for me

EmbárrameSmear me / Cover me

Embárrame comes from the verb embarrar, which means to smear, to muddy, or to cover something with a soft substance. It's a vivid and somewhat unusual word to find in a love song.

In

"Venus" turns wanting someone into an ocean metaphor. Zoë compares a lover who shows up and vanishes on their own schedule to the tide: "Vienes como el mar, vuelta en un ciclo" [You come like the sea, turning in a cycle], "como una Venus te apareces" [like a Venus you appear]. Rather than fight the pull, the singer asks to be pulled under: "Intoxícame" [Intoxicate me], "Me hundiré en tus olas" [I will sink into your waves].

The second half drops the fantasy. "Sé que no es real y nadie es propiedad" [I know it's not real and no one belongs to anyone] says outright that nothing here is promised, and the song answers that admission with the plainest line it has: "Solo porque te quiero, solo porque es así" [Just because I love you, just because it's like this]. No justification beyond the feeling itself. It ends on care given back rather than a resolved plot: "Te voy a cuidar como tu lo haces por mi" [I will take care of you like you do for me].
