This is a party corrido with zero modesty. Los Gemelos De Sinaloa open with "Ahora que traigo feria pa' gastar" (now that I've got cash to spend). "Feria" is Mexican slang for money, and "pa'" is the clipped "para". From there it is a list of flexes: a Rolex shining on his hand, Cartier, "en mi cuello traigo un kilo" (I've got a kilo of gold on my neck), and the most famous bands playing just for him.
The title line is the bluntest one: "Ya saben que soy de acción cuando le pego al perico" (you know I'm a man of action when I hit the perico). "Perico" literally means parakeet, but here it is slang for cocaine. Then the second verse turns surprisingly sweet: "Mi mundo se lo debo a mi papá" (I owe my world to my dad), plus a reminder that life has to be enjoyed "porque un día se nos va" (because one day it leaves us). Shout-outs like "Arriba la Gemeliza" are the duo hyping their own crew.
