Encomendar means 'to entrust' or 'to commend'. It's a formal and somewhat poetic word that stands out in the context of this urban reggaeton track.
In the lyrics, the artist sings, "Te voy a encomendar como estrellas en las tierra" (I'm going to entrust you like stars on earth). This line uses the word in a unique and almost spiritual way, suggesting a deep admiration and a desire to protect or cherish the person, elevating them to something precious like stars.
The whole song runs on one idea: these two are the same kind of trouble. It opens with "Somos tan iguales, somos tan iguales que estoy preocupado" (We're so alike, we're so alike that it worries me), and the worry is meant as a compliment. What he offers her a few lines later is not a bunch of flowers: "Por si acaso aparece un presta'o, aquí tengo un Draco y una corta pa' ti" (Just in case a borrowed one shows up, I've got a Draco and a short one here for you), then "Tranquila, tú solo apunta y los vas a partir" (Relax, just aim and you'll tear them apart). In case the reference is too subtle, he says it outright: "Ya te dediqué la de 'Bonnie and Clyde'" (I already dedicated the 'Bonnie and Clyde' one to you).
The rest is standard Puerto Rican trap furniture, the tinted Hellcat, the crew, leaving before the police units arrive, and iZaak rattles through all of it with a shrug. The detail that actually sticks is much smaller: "Hasta maquillándote en el carro te ves perra" (Even doing your makeup in the car you look incredible). And once, in between the boasts, the bravado slips: "Me veo maleante, pero voy a todas por ti" (I look like a thug, but I go all in for you). It's a love song with the safety off.
