ROA is the stage name of Gilberto Figueroa, a Latin urban singer born in 1996 in Naranjito, Puerto Rico. The name comes from the last three letters of his surname.
He began releasing singles around 2020 and carved out his own lane in a crowded Puerto Rican scene: romantic trap and reggaeton shaped by R&B and soul, with soft, close vocals sitting over slow, heavy beats.
The albums Private Suite, Vol. 1 (2023) and Private Suite, Vol. 2 (2024) made him one of the island's most closely watched new voices, and in 2025 he was named Nueva Generación, Artista Masculino at Premios Juventud.
