Ed Maverick, born Eduardo Hernández Saucedo on January 19, 2001, in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, is a celebrated Mexican singer-songwriter known for his heartfelt folk and alternative music. He began his musical journey by sharing songs and covers on social media, quickly rising to fame with his debut album Mix pa' llorar en tu cuarto (2018), featuring the diamond-certified hit "Fuentes de Ortiz".

Signing with Universal Music Mexico in 2019, Ed Maverick gained critical acclaim for his introspective storytelling and acoustic sound. His 2021 self-titled album Eduardo and collaboration with C. Tangana on "Párteme la Cara" further cemented his status in the Latin music scene, earning him a Latin Grammy Award for Best Engineered Album.
