Dj Husky is a Chilean producer and DJ who has become one of the busiest names in modern bachata. He grew up between South America and Barcelona, Spain, where he studied music production, and he now builds bachata and Latin dance tracks aimed squarely at the dance floor.
His trademark is the sensual, radio ready side of the genre: warm guitars, patient percussion, and a vocalist left to carry the heartbreak. On ALMA he hands that job to Montelier, a Cuban singer songwriter from Trinidad, Cuba, now based in Zurich, Switzerland, who is known for folding modern pop into traditional bachata. Producer Dimelo Cupido completes the collaboration, and gets his own shout out in the middle of the song.
