Nicky Jam is a Puerto Rican-American singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known for his Latin-infused reggaeton and hip-hop music. He is best known for hits such as "X", "Travesuras", "En la Cama", "Te Busco", "El Perdón", "Hasta el Amanecer", and "El Amante"; the latter three are from his 2017 album Fénix. He has collaborated with many other artists, including Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, and Ozuna. Nicky Jam and Daddy Yankee previously formed the group Los Cangris, but they split up acrimoniously in 2004 and Nicky Jam's career quickly took a sharp decline. Nicky then moved to Medellín, Colombia, where he rejuvenated his career. Recently, Nicky and Daddy Yankee re-united and released music together. Nicky Jam has won several awards, including the Latin Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album in 2017. He is one of the most successful Latin artists of all time, with over 10 billion views on YouTube and over 10 million followers on Instagram.
