"Let Love Lead The Way" es la balada más tierna de las Spice Girls. Cuenta la historia de una chica joven, "so sweet and young" (tan dulce y joven), que mira el mundo desde la ventana de su cuarto y llora porque "All she sees is hurt and pain" (todo lo que ve es dolor y sufrimiento).
El estribillo es una lista de preguntas sin respuesta: "Why is there joy, why is there pain" (por qué hay alegría, por qué hay dolor). Y la respuesta que dan es sencilla: "Just keep the faith and let love lead the way" (solo mantén la fe y deja que el amor guíe el camino). La expresión keep the faith significa no perder la esperanza, y lead the way es ir delante mostrando el camino.
Mi parte favorita es el ánimo directo: "You may feel weak, but you are strong" (puede que te sientas débil, pero eres fuerte) y "Don't you give up girl" (no te rindas, chica). Es cursi, sí, pero lo dice con todo el cariño del mundo.
