DESCONTROL Lyrics in English by Los Dareyes De La Sierra
Descontrol literally means "out of control" or "lack of control." It's a vivid and energetic word that perfectly captures the rebellious and wild spirit of the song.
The lyrics repeatedly use this word, with phrases like "Traigo un puto descontrol" (I'm in a damn state of being out of control) and "Qué descontrol, compadre" (What a lack of control, buddy). It embodies the song's theme of living life to the fullest, embracing chaos, and not caring about societal expectations.
Get ready to dive into the wild world of Los Dareyes De La Sierra's "DESCONTROL"! This song is all about living life to the fullest, even if it means being a little out of control. The artist, Darey, is ready to party with his real friends, a drink in hand, and a "culito por un lado" [a little girl on the side]. He's been up for days, feeling a bit crazy and anxious, but he doesn't want to change. Why? Because as he bluntly puts it, "la puta vida solo se vive una vez" [f***ing life is only lived once].
Darey isn't worried about tomorrow because he knows "en la vida la muerte es lo más seguro" [in life, death is the most certain thing]. He'd rather die happy! He also talks about how few true friends he has, counting them on his toes, and even jokes about being like the Joker. And in a funny, unexpected moment, he mentions a late-night call from his ex that led to phone sex. Despite the chaos, he still wakes up grateful to God for everything he has, recognizing that friends are more valuable than money and luxuries, but you should enjoy those too while you're alive. It's a fun, no-holds-barred look at living life on your own terms!
