Ve druhé části se obrazy ještě víc rozbouří. Jeden člověk druhého rozesmál, ale přitom ho rozplakal, a způsobil v něm „um maremoto“ [cunami] i „tempestade atemporal“ [bouři mimo čas]. Déšť, mraky, hrom a voda tu mluví o síle touhy i radosti: někdo se koupe v radosti toho druhého a „toda natureza pausa pra observar“ [celá příroda se zastaví, aby se dívala]. Slovo „cê“ je hovorová zkrácená podoba slova „você“, tedy „ty“. Na konci se vrací nabídka být přestávkou od smutku, ale vztah už není jednostranný: oba se navzájem zalévají smíchem, slzami a představami. Moje oblíbená myšlenka je, že není čas na agónii, když jsou spolu právě teď.

I «Pausa Da Sua Tristeza» tilbyr fortelleren seg som et avbrekk fra en sorg som stadig kommer på besøk: «Me deixe ser a pausa da sua tristeza» [La meg være pausen i tristheten din]. Personen han synger til gråter mye, men han mener at «olhos de água não combinam com você e suas danças» [vannfylte øyne ikke passer med deg og dansene dine]. Derfor prøver han å fylle henne med latter, drømmer og litt magi. Bildene er lekne: Hun later som hun er en sky, de bygger illusjoner, og hun reiser til paradis i tankene mens hun holder rundt puten. Det er en varm invitasjon til å stole på seg selv, ikke la angsten bestemme, og forstå at glansen hennes ikke kommer fra smykker.

Så blir kjærligheten mer voldsom og morsom på samme tid. Latter, tårer, hav, regn, torden og en «maremoto» [flodbølge] gjør følelsene til et helt værfenomen. «A ansiedade te engana» [Angsten lurer deg] sier fortelleren, som om han prøver å overdøve den indre stemmen som får henne til å tvile på seg selv. Når de er sammen, finnes det ikke plass til agoni, fordi hun allerede har fylt hele ham. Det fine her er hvor direkte teksten er: Han sier ikke at hun må bli en annen. Han ber henne se det han ser, og lar latteren, dansen og regnet gjøre resten.
