CEF TANZY

Carlos Fernando Tanzi grew up in Tsotso, in Angola's Uíge province, singing in his church choir from the age of nine. He gave his first public performance in 2003 and began recording professionally in 2008 with producer Vovó, later founding his own talent company, C8 Music Group, in 2011.

Working with producer Smash, he created trap zouk in 2012 by fusing zouk's romantic rhythms with hip hop's rhythmic structure, and the genre carried his albums Botão de Rosa and Cartel D'Amor. Singles like "Pintor de Rua," "Digital," and "A Mulher tem Força" have won him Angola Music Awards honors for Best Male Voice and Best R&B Singer, and he continues to write and produce under the stage name CEF Tanzy.
