Abandonado Lyrics in English by Los Pescadores del Rio Conchos
Abandonado translates to "abandoned." It's a poignant and emotionally charged word that immediately conveys a sense of loss and solitude.
In the context of this song, the word is central to the theme, appearing multiple times. It describes the feeling of being left behind by a loved one, emphasizing the pain and emptiness that follows a breakup. This word is key to understanding the song's melancholic mood.
Have you ever just wanted to wake up and completely forget someone? That's exactly where Los Pescadores del Rio Conchos take us in "Abandonado." The singer desperately wants to "despertar y no recordar tus besos" [wake up and not remember your kisses], because the love is gone. They want to "poder admitir que lo nuestro murió" [be able to admit that what was ours died] and move on.
It's a really relatable feeling of being stuck in the past, even when you know it's over. The lyrics talk about "cadenas que vemos sin ti" [chains we see without you] and being "abandonado que mismo su amor" [abandoned by their own love]. Even though they're trying to forget, they keep "recordando esos momentos que tuve a tu lado" [remembering those moments I had by your side]. It's a powerful song about the struggle to let go and the lingering pain of a lost love.
