LES TROIS ACCORDS

Les Trois Accords formed in Drummondville, Quebec, in 1997, when Simon Proulx and Olivier Benoit started writing songs together as teenagers. Alexandre Parr joined in 1999, and Pierre-Luc Boisvert and Charles Dubreuil completed the lineup in 2001, the year the band settled into the core it has kept ever since.

Their 2003 debut, Gros Mammouth Album, and its Platinum-certified reissue Gros Mammouth Album Turbo, introduced the strange, joke-filled rock songs that became their trademark, and by 2005 they were opening arena shows for the Rolling Stones. Albums like Grand champion international de course, Dans mon corps, J'aime ta grand-mère, Joie d'être gai and Beaucoup de plaisir followed, each pairing absurd lyrics with big, hooky choruses that have made the band a fixture of Quebec rock for close to three decades.
