Poing, Poing, Salta, El Sapo De Los Chicos Lyrics in English by Adriana Szusterman
Poing is a fun onomatopoeia, which is a word that imitates a sound. It's the Spanish equivalent of the English sound 'Boing!'
In this playful children's song, poing is the sound the little frog, or sapo, makes every time he jumps. The song repeats 'Poing, poing, salta' (Boing, boing, jump) to create a catchy and energetic rhythm that makes you want to jump along!
This song is a pure, energetic dance party led by a frog! Adriana Szusterman invites everyone to join in a simple, fun dance. The instructions are clear: "Sacudo la cabeza y subo las dos manos / Y ahora empiezo a saltar" (I shake my head and raise both hands / And now I start to jump). It's a song made for moving.
The frog jumps everywhere: in place, forward, backward, and side to side. The whole point is to have fun with others. The chorus repeats "Poing, poing, salta, salta conmigo" (Boing, boing, jump, jump with me) and "salta, con los amigos" (jump, with friends). The energy is so high that the singer declares, "No puedo, no puedo, no puedo parar" (I can't, I can't, I can't stop). It's all about the simple joy of jumping around to a happy beat.
